Linux support for the AmigaOne/MAI Teron CX/MAI Teron PX consumer PowerPC motherboards.

The AmigaOne is a PowerPC ATX mainboard aimed at the consumer market. It is based on the MAI Logic Teron CX/PX boards.

The board is not like other PPC machines e.g PowerMacs, it is similar to a PC ATX board, e.g it uses a VIA Southbridge, except it has a PowerPC CPU and PowerPC specific Northbridge (MAI Logic Articia S). It also has standard PCI/AGP, DIMM, IDE, PS/2, USB ports.

The firmware of the board is not OpenFirmware (like PowerMacs), it is a modified version of "u-boot" (http://www.denx.de/wiki/U-Boot), which is open source.

The aim of this project initially was to port the Linux kernel to the AmigaOne board. Now that basic support for the AmigaOne is included in the Linux kernel (since v2.6.30), the focus of this project has shifted a little bit towards distribution support (mainly Debian). However there are still some things to fix in the kernel port.
